Hey, Jim...
Topic: Still Images and Graphics
Caption selections:

"Why does the false head have better hair?"

"Go bang your heads together, 3 eyes."

"There's nothing wrong with that eye; I just wear the patch to look more sophisticated."

"Hey, Patch... there's some weird zeebs with just one head lookin' at us!"

"Look, just because we sleep together doesn't mean we're gay!"

"You've been dating my girl, haven't you."

"One day, you're gonna be dead, and the shoulders will be all mine!"

"Mint?"

"Look out! It's a vampire!"
"So? It's not like he can bite us both at once."
"He's got a friend!"
"Shit! Run!"
"I can't! YOU control the legs!"

"World's Greatest Ventriloquism Act"

"Have a pint."
"Thanks. Have one yourself."
"Wow... two pints? That makes us a two-headed quarter!"

"Where'd you learn to yodel?"

"For my next act, I'll sing old Bob Dylan songs while accompanying myself on harmonica."

"When I said 'keep an eye out,' that's not what I had in mind."

"Mom always liked you best."

"I had such big dreams... fame, money, girls... now here I am, on some nondescript web page, talking to myself."
"Yeah, and you're bloody boring us to death."

"Shut up, or I'll drink until you throw up."

"I've got twice as much brain-power as the rest of you, and I'm still confused."

Photoshoppin'
Topic: Still Images and Graphics
Been havin' fun in the Photoshop contests on Fark. Give it a try... the more the merrier. Even if you suck at it, you'll still be funny, because of how bad you suck.

No, seriously. I've seen some pretty simple stuff up there, and some amazing stuff too. You don't need godlike photoshop skills. You just have to have a good idea, and you might make someone laugh.

They'll be laughing with you. Probably.

Based On Original Art From Vampire: The Masquerade
Topic: Still Images and Graphics
I was just messin' around and made this, based on artwork from White Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade. I like it. I hope you do too. But if you don't, it's not gonna make me sad.

An acquaintance of mine at my place of enslavement has a nice web site he's recently developed. It's primarily a showcase for his artistic talents, which are much better than mine and most peoples' that I've seen. The imagery is, at times, disturbing, because Lael is, at times, disturbing. Personally, I rather like being disturbed in that way, so his art is appealing to me. It may be the same for you, so check it out.

This is cool.
Topic: Still Images and Graphics
This is a link to a site that has experimented with animated GIFs to produce a 3D image. It takes a photo, and then takes another photo slightly offset from the first. It then cycles between these two images in order to use the concept of 'persistence of vision' to give a 3D effect. It works, somewhat, although it's more like a stereoscope than true 3d. But it's still very cool. The photography alone is nice.

Here is a site showing how a person has taken a nude woman's body and turned it into landscapes... sort of. It's more for comedic effect than artistic, but it is artistic, sort of. It's done in black-and-white, probably to lend more of an artistic air to it. (Note this, budding photographers. If the photo of the nude woman is in color, it's pornography. If it's in black-and-white, it's art. The Meese Commission has been using this simple rule for years.) If nudity bothers you, don't go there. Some of the images are PG, but most are decidedly PG-13, or maybe even R.

Still, though, very cool.
