This is cool.
Topic: Still Images and Graphics
This is a link to a site that has experimented with animated GIFs to produce a 3D image. It takes a photo, and then takes another photo slightly offset from the first. It then cycles between these two images in order to use the concept of 'persistence of vision' to give a 3D effect. It works, somewhat, although it's more like a stereoscope than true 3d. But it's still very cool. The photography alone is nice.

Here is a site showing how a person has taken a nude woman's body and turned it into landscapes... sort of. It's more for comedic effect than artistic, but it is artistic, sort of. It's done in black-and-white, probably to lend more of an artistic air to it. (Note this, budding photographers. If the photo of the nude woman is in color, it's pornography. If it's in black-and-white, it's art. The Meese Commission has been using this simple rule for years.) If nudity bothers you, don't go there. Some of the images are PG, but most are decidedly PG-13, or maybe even R.

Still, though, very cool.
